When the sun goes away,
And your energy is drained;
When all you can feel is pain,
And you’re just looking for someone to blame.

If you can’t see the moon,
And all the lights are off;
If you’re really on your own,
And you can’t help staring at your phone.

When you ask yourself if it’s worth it,
To cope, to deal and to admit;
When you refuse to get up,
And you can’t brandish that victory cup.

Because you’re weak and vulnerable,
But you cant have people see;
Because it hurt to even think,
And you’ve run out of writing ink.

When everything is dull,
And thoughts are banging around in your skull;
When you can’t bear to be alone,
And you feel like you’ve been thrown off your throne.

Maybe you should stop.
Maybe you should split.
Maybe you should just end it.
Maybe you should simply quit.
