Monsoon Session will definitely function: Lok Sabha Speaker

Ahead of Monsoon Session of the Parliament, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the Monsoon Session will definitely function amid Covid-19 and the preparations have been made for that.

“The committee of cabinet ministers decides the functioning period of the Monsoon Session of parliament. The Monsoon Session will definitely function and we have made preparations for that. Secretariat employees have been vaccinated and 445 members have got themselves inoculated separately. The remaining members and employees will soon be vaccinated. We are constantly trying to increase the working and productivity of parliament,” said Speaker Birla.
