because if we don’t, we will cry because of our poverty.

It’s not what it is – it is what it does to people.
Being a slave to money, I think – is the most destructive form of slavery.
Maybe, Understanding the difference between the “use” of something as opposed to “owning” something is the first step to overcoming the money-enslavement mentality.
If you are sacrificing your talent, skills and integrity for money, you may well want to consider who you really are. What are you doing with your life?

Here’s a thought:
What did you do last week for the love of money?
You see,
It is not the money, it is the love of money that is questionable.

Some examples:
For the love of money you work for a boss that is the personification of the Peter Principle, but he is the boss.
For the love of money you do a job that you hate, but it’s your job.
For the love of money, you are doing something that is way beneath your abilities. But you are making money.
For the love of money, you lack confidence in your ability to do your job properly, but you’re faking it as best as you can. You need the money. You just hope nobody finds out about your you lack confidence.
For the love of money, you didn’t marry your high school sweetheart. He didn't have any money.
For the love of money, you are in debt up to your eyeballs, just to show the neighbors how successful you are.
For the love of money you are pushing you kid to become a bean-counter, even though he wants to paint.
For the love of money, you sacrifice what you love to do what makes the money.

Could be that I am saying all this because of sour grapes.
I have no money.
Isn’t life grand.
Oh well, you must think fro yourself.
