mona martinez - STEP UP! ! ! !

can't believe you tell me it not up to you,
don't you know i wouldn't be in this mess,
if only it wasn't for you,
i have try and not place blame,
for the things i can no longer change,
but, help me along the way,
this is your fight as well as mine,
step up!
i had to even though i never wanted to,
there comes a day in our lives,
where we have to grow up and accept life challenges,
when are you going to face yours?
i'm doing all that i can,
just to keep moving forward,
so don't stop me now,
because you see me,
i don't back down from a fight,
i just say bring it! !
i know what i deserve,
and this here is not it,
i deserve better not get toss aside like yesterday trash,
i'm a human being with feeling,
my feeling don't rule me,
so don't think you're going to rule me,
i have a brain,
you want to know what it is telling me?
i rule my life not you,
i say when i had enough,
i will not let fear get the best of me,
just because it gotten the best of you,
because that just not who i am anymore.
