Friend, not many know me as well as you do
Not many do I trust as much as I trust you
You’ve stuck around for years and years
Are there when it counts and always cares

Good and bad are the memories we share
Each making the other’s burdens a little lighter to bear
A blessing to have, and always a joy to see
My dearest friend you have been so good to me

And if in the future we grow apart
Remember to keep me a part of your heart
Smile and remember the good times we shared
Dancing to music loud and blared

Celebrations and parties galore
Working it out on the dance floor
Remember our laughter and not our tears
How in each other we once confided hopes and fears

Not our disagreements, lies or fights
But how we always tried to make our wrongs, right
A friendship such as ours, can never be bought
Friend of mine, I will ever forget you not
