Row over US rejecting visa to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has taken a twist for the good. Even as US acknowledged that the US Congressional delegations's visit to Gujarat had official sanction, US State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland clarified that there was no immediate change in its stand on a visa to Modi, but he is welcome to apply. Modi was denied a US visa earlier for his alleged role in the 2002 Gujarat riots.
