The emperor stands silently
as he would so arrogantly
in charge and in isolation

While conspirators lie leaning
on each other mumbling in
an indignant agitation

Whoever told me about his
wisdom and power severely lied
about such keen discerning things

On this day like a child I sing
out loud and cry “he has no pants -
he’s just pretending to be king!”
