Every night I sleep so sweet
With the sound of your heart beat

I try to remember why you love me so
But sometimes I just feel like I just don’t know

You went away for a short time
And reassured that it would be fine

My heart said trust him
But my head gave me thoughts grim

Days went on
Nights became a yawn

Your arrival was close
And it seemed like time froze

I thought it would be perfect
But would there be conflicts?

Only time will tell
Tell if I’ll be well
