I made a mistake
You offered but I did not take
I left you heartbroken
Unable to heal
With many words still unspoken
Hoping for it not to be real
It hurt me as much as you
I cried and cried for many hours
Because we stuck together just like glue
But nobody could ever hear my small cowers
Just me and you, only two
My heart was broken just the same
I was only wishing for something new
Now I know it's not a game
People say that I was out of my mind
I know I was but it’s too late now
True love is hard to find
I just want to know how?
We’ve been together for what seems like forever
And now that were not it's not right
He was so nice, sweet and clever
But all of it is not worth the fight
So I leave you with your broken heart
So as you run far away
Just remember that I'm falling apart
I only have one thing to say
