Miranda DeNooyer - Clouds Cry

I look outside through the window
watch the rain pelt on the glass
starring out, forgetting ev'rything I know
standing there letting all time pass;
For why are the clouds, the sky so sad
the rain is the skys many tears
the sun, a smile, what the world once had
rain from clouds is all thats left here.
