Ministers working behind the scenes, PM assures

The cabinet may be largely quiet but they are hard at work, assured Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today.

He said this when asked about allegations that ministers were not at work during the current movement control order.

Muhyiddin explained that for the present, he had specified that only two people address the public and they were Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob on government initiatives and health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on health updates.

"This is so there are not too many spokespersons [..]. but this doesn't mean the ministers are not working.
