Description

This song, "A Winner Never Quits", was Milton's second single, and the one he performed at Heaven at the famous "A Nightmare On Villiers Street" night in 1987. Milton had a great voice and in retrospect I wish I'd done some proper soul with him, he should have been singing classic Motown. I met Milton in 1986 while producing an act for MCA. They were called Dark Secret and one of the girls was Milton's wife. He came down to the recording sessions at Hans Zimmer's studio, Lillie Yard and hung around. He sang for me and asked if I'd make a record with him. So I recorded two singles with him for the Nightmare label in 1986, which was in its infancy at the time. The first single was "Falling From A Great Height" and the second was this one, "A Winner Never Quits". Well here it is, enjoy!
