Mill Field - Poetry Versification

For those of us who versify,
And truly we are plenty,
There's much to give us food for thought -
Not what to do and what we ought.

Take for instance, the choice of style,
There's enough on offer to all beguile.

Lyrical, cryptical, fictional, mystical,
Farcical, laudable - more;

Historic, majestic, satiric, angelic,
Fantastic, bombastic - more;

Observing, conserving, exhulting, conversing,
Inspiring, confronting - more;

Inquisitorial, ambassadorial,
Juxtapositional - more;

Head spinning, words grinning;
No more! No More! Close the door.
