The race, first held in 1876, is cycling's oldest competition and celebrates its 101st edition today. Many of the sport's top names are at the start in Mesero, including van Aert, Ewan, Gaviria, Bennett, Sagan, van der Poel, Bouhanni, Mareczko, Demare, Cimolai and Moschetti.
