Working as a trashman
In a ritzy neighborhood
Just had some wine
I'm feeling fine
The day is running good
I can bust my ass
On a rich man's trash
But it's only for a while
When my work is done
I'll have my fun
So there's no need not to smile

There's great rewards for me each day
While working in the streets
From the pride I take
In working hard
And the people that I meet
I don't know much about other jobs
This is what I do
But when my work is done
I'll have my fun
Can I say the same for you

When my work is done
I'll have my fun
I'll say it once again
Cause I ain't dead yet
And I don't regret
All the places that I've been
There's a million ways
That a man can pay
For the meat his family eats
So while I can
Be a working man
I'm a trash man in the streets
