I'm wanting you to know
I won't forget the years
You guided me through life
The best way that you knew
With loyalty and love
With sweat hard work and tears
So I just thought I'd share
What's in my heart with you

Those hours at the window
You worried so about me
While I was running wild
With other things to do
You always knew you'd spend
Alot of time without me
Ma I am so sorry
For what I put you through

So many years gone by
I still have here inside me
The memory of your eyes
The thoughtful things you'd do
Now i've grown a man
Though the world may seem to hide me
I keep within my soul
A special love for you
