MIGRANT DEPORTATION ORDERS ISSUED DAILY

At least 18 Venezuelan refugees were issued deportation letters at the San Fernando Immigration office Tuesday.

And according to human rights activists, this has been going on for months despite many of these migrants being either UNHCR or government-amnesty registered.

Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh was outside the San Fernando Immigration office Tuesday morning where the migrants called on the government to have compassion and reconsider what they term 'unlawful repatriations'.
