'Middle East could host future Olympic Games'

Jacques Rogge, the president of the International Olympic Committee, says the Middle East could host future Olympic Games.

Rogge said he did not think the high summer temperatures in the Gulf should stop countries such as Qatar from hosting events like the Summer Olympics or the FIFA World Cup.

Speaking to Al Jazeera's Joanna Gasiorowska, Rogge said he was confident Qatar would do a good job of hosting World Cup 2022.
