Microsoft to Buy GitHub for $7.5 Billion
Description
Microsoft has agreed to buy coding platform GitHub for $7.5 billion in an all-stock deal, the companies announced on Monday. Microsoft said GitHub, which is the world’s leading software development platform, will operate independently to provide an open platform for developers across all industries. James Valles reports.
