Micron - which path?

I’m looking for my place in the world
As things hurt is constantly hurled
My life is all muddled confused
I’m simply tired of being used
I feel I have no real purpose or role
So aimlessly now I sadly stroll
Yet I don’t know what I do want
I’m still trying to just figure it out
What road to take I don’t know
Turn left or right no one can show
I’m simply sad and all alone
And feel confused and forlorn
This long road I’m been walking
Should I continue or be turning
I try to see through the whirling mist
But no one is there to me assist
I keep going got to stay strong
Even though my path may be wrong
All I can do is follow my heart and soul
And hope I don’t fall in a deep hole
I’m destined to be all on my own
What’s to come next is unknown
Sometimes the sunshine appears
And it helps comfort and ease my fears
Then I’m straining to see through the rain
Trying to hold back hide my pain
Who knows what tomorrow may bring
Will it be tears or will I happily sing
I'm alone trying that's all I know
I try to be strong what ever life does throw
