Micron - Feeling small

Sometimes I just feel so small
Insignificant to anyone at all
Everyone seems more important towering over me
I guess my inner smallness they must see
Sometimes they stamp, shout and are so cruel
If I try to stand up they squash me and win as a rule
Their crushing weight of things they pile onto me
Making me shrinking more inside this I clearly see
If brave I may rebel, scowl and stamp my feet
But we all know as equals we wont meet
As I wont outgrow outshine anybody on this earth I know
To be another’s equal wont happen I’m too low
But sometimes I long to not feel so small
And insignificant to one and all
