Am gooin art agen and looking forward to a night of jovial emptiness?

Bland and meaningless diatribe, about the price of fish and blue chips.

About what you did on yer holidays and what I didn’t do on mine.

Did yer watch, did yer see and did yer hear about, what? What? WHAT!

She’s a bit er all right int shi, yes shame she’s not blind mate.

Did I ever tell you about……yes you did - oh and how you did, well done that man!

The words then mingle but lo! Some grains of wisdom leak out and meaning, nay truth, peeks from its small curtained window.

All in vain - the Kaiser chief conversation starts again dead on time this week.

Then the beer hits harder and we converse in “louder than you” talk only to find that

we are stuck on a roundabout and going nowhere.

Last orders, lost order.

Kebab anyone?

Great night last night I was bladdered must have had 15 pints. Wow!

Order is restored once more.
