Close your eyes, hold out your arms
And spin with your head held high
Turning around and around
Until you almost fly to the sky

I like to do this sometimes
Upon a windswept plain
Feeling just like Cathy
Waiting for Heathcliffe in the rain

The droplets tumble onto your face
The wind whipping your hair until
It stings and reminds you your place
And you stop, you've had your fill

Then a gentle stroll along the beach
Isolated, there's only you
You only have to answer to the tide
You stand, and stare at whom?

The freckle on the horizon
That draws closer to your mind
Bringing a clarity, not illusion
True happiness you will find

In nature and loneliness
And the sand between your toes
In friends and truth and love
Mother Earth absorbs the woes
