Never a creature or bird did perch
upon the tower of that big church.
As I gaze from my bedroom window,
upon a hill,
I seem to get such a chill.
Breezes yielding smells of patchouli
float in making me feel so
unruly.
They say a tragic event took place.
A man ventured in - what a disgrace.
Didn't he have any fear or was the
message quite unclear?
Old timers say he was a freemason.....
Who but a demon - did chasten.
Many a person that church did lure.
It was a dangerous place for sure.
Time drifted on - I moved away.
You see the church is still there
today!
That old grey tower does still stand
but all around is a great wasteland!
