Michel Barnier: Meeting with Steve Barclay 'constructive'

The EU's chief Brexit negotiator says that his meeting with Brexit Secretary Steve Barclay on Friday morning was "constructive". Hopes of a breakthrough in securing a withdrawal deal have risen following private talks between Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar in the Wirral on Thursday.
