The tugging at my heart
is a painful way to live

The tears burning my eyes
is a painful way to sleep.

The painful memory
or your hand on my skin
make me wonder will
i ever love again

Why is it so hard to be happy
for everyone else, why is it
so easy for them to love
without even any doubt

why is it every day i cry
why is it i cry every night
why do i wish i still had you living by
my side?

I miss the days we were holding on so close
