MichaelAndrew Doyle - Empty Rooms

I have put out the light
snuffed each candle with
wet fingers. I would
rather be in the dark
where the scent of smoke
still lingers. I have drunk
enough for tears but not
enough for forgetting,
Your ghost is still too
warm and your breath
still fills these empty rooms.
