Michael Witkowski - Airy specks

air shines through my flesh
neon roves in my blood
fresh air i breathe with
every pore

well mixed adapted air,
not pure oxygen- that
stabs my lungs bloodless
i feel i am pure air

not air for being unseen
by others but inner
feeling of me- a
feather i am

only a dark speck
on the near sea-shore
a speck i know too well
to be afraid

wish: air oxygenates
the dark speck- an
attack of pure hair
