Sun raising slowly in the east
The dew forming on the lawn
The sounds of birds waking up
Chirping to a new day
The smell of spring in the air
The last of the winter snow melting
Temperature rising, Warmth everywhere
Windows opening to let the fresh air in
Nature blossoming early
Flowers stretching out
Kids getting their bikes ready
To ride them to school, proudly
No more winter coats
No freezing temps
April rains bring the may flowers
Playgrounds coming to life
Moms and babies strolling down the street
Convertibles with the top down of the ground
Signs of spring is everywhere
The coats are are gone, shorts are on
Tank tops to summer dresses
Spring in the air
Love for the season is full
Bring on the season of growth
Spring into summer with joy
It's the most loved of them all
New life, new times
Brings us back to life
Spring it forward, bring the heat
Winter's gone, no more snow
Just the green of spring
For us to enjoy one and all
