We want religion’s cap and gown
A shepherd’s crook in hand
Yet with God’s law we act the clown
And prance throughout the land

We want religion’s ornate ring
Its trinkets made of gold
A sermon sweet a song to sing
Leaving God less than cold

Let’s help instead those lost and down
Through He who Guides inside
Help one another gain life’s crown
And in God’s will abide

Forget each creed each church’s name
The titles you may hold
In Jesus’ eyes we’ all the same
God’s sheep within one fold

Lets all consider Jesus’ rule
Before He rose above
And let’s not play again the fool
But show The Way in love

We’re called as fellow servants here
To stand with Christ God’s Son
Teaching each other Godly fear
Until our time is done

Until another comes behind
Made faithful strong and true
Who’ll feed the sheep, assist mankind
To change their worldly view

We must renounce of self to shine
Give up each selfish way
Be grateful grafted in The Vine
Our Saviour to obey
