Weight of the world on my back
And a chip on my shoulder
Mama dont worry about me
You know your son is a soldier
Weight of the world on my back
And even though I got the world on me
Lets make a toast and say the world owes me
I know Im misunderstood
So its good if you aint feelin' me
Man dont even listen
My pen and pad give me undivided attention
And witness all my deepest darkest scriptures
When I fell and felt I couldnt stand
I smacked out a helping hand
No one understands
Why I contemplated suicide
With a gun in my hand
I was ready to go to the Lord
Somewhere this stress could get absorbed
All my negative energy could get stored
Im only 29 but my eyes about 1000 years old
Ive seen people get their life tookin'
As if it wasnt of valuable gold
But through the pressure I hold
Are the masterpieces I mold
