Description
Michael Jackson est l’une des personnalités culturelles les plus influentes du XXe siècle, et son héritage se poursuit au XXIe siècle. L’exposition « Michael Jackson. On the Wall » (qui joue avec le nom du célèbre album Off The Wall) salue la mémoire du chanteur et se propose de réunir les œuvres d’une quarantaine d’artistes tels que David LaChapelle, Andy Warhol, Lorraine O’Grady ou encore Isaac Julien. Dans cette vidéo, Vanessa Desclaux, commissaire associée de l’exposition, témoigne de l’impact de cette figure légendaire sur l’art contemporain.
L’exposition « Michael Jackson. On The Wall » est à découvrir au Grand Palais du 23 novembre 2018 au 14 février 2019.
