The New Republic's 2008 Guide to the Candidates: A Celebration.In early 2005, Editor Frank Foer made a commitment to covering the 2008 presidential candidates with a fresh lens. This "fresh" angle included profiles of major contenders from both political parties. The effort was met with a hugely positive response.
