Michael Brock - Same the World Around

Everywhere I have roamed I have found
that the people are not that much different
from the ones where I am now
Children need feeding and chores there are a plenty
Dads off to work and mother's to her garden
school for the children to learn a better way
Sons and daughters growing up and start changing
'In my day, ' I have heard it said many a time
'things were slower and better, more innocent you will find'
But home is still home and hearts still get broken
Families come together and they still have a bond
Life is the same the world around and it seems strange
that we speak different languages and have different cultures and yet
we still stand on the same ground.
