Michael Biondi - Love, Lets Walk Together

Take my hand love,
lets travel these bricks
to an Oz that we will never find.
After all, the unknown of our journey
will be our only happiness
when this all comes to an end.
but what defines the end…
when the only breaths we take,
are those to keep our eyes awake
for another breath to beat
with this thing inside my chest?
And as we step this road with our feet,
we will step again and again and again.
Until our arches beneath begin to ache
or our toes may potentially bleed…
will you stay carelessly with me?

Take my heart love,
let's paint this path with shades of red,
that have silently spilled out from
the crayon boxes within our chests;
because you make me feel like a little boy.
We can be too young for love
or too old to live much longer;
either way, I desire to die in your arms.
But what defines death…
when a heart stopping,
only means a last breath;
because the soul of our love
will live on and on and on.

Take my everything love,
because in love, we musk risk everything.
Just let me stare into those eyes,
until we close them together forever.
And I will define forever…
it's the present, it's the past, and it's the future.
It's the living life and dying death
and it's the beauty of an endless clock,
who's hands say that time means nothing.
