One of may Favorite exercise for building my calves is shown in the video At age 18 when I started working out I weighed 155lbs and had 13 inch calves. I was not born genetically with big calves. Now at age 30 and 215lbs my calves measure at 18 1/2 inch. The only way to build your calves is to work them very hard and lift heavy.
