MIC to the rescue?

MIC's Cameron Highlands Member of Parliament SK Devamany descends from the highlands to see and hear first hand the high-handedness of authorities in attempting to demolish the Sri Mariaman temple.

Mainstream media however reported today that the issue has been solved after Pak Lah's intervention. An English language daily reported that the Selangor government has allocated a 10,000 square feet property in Shah Alam for a new temple and it will also help in the construction. The daily reported MIC's president S Samy Vellu as saying that the PM had met with Selangor MB Khir Toyo on the potentially racially and religiously explosive issue.
