I see right through those binding eyes your smile is not all truth
It's buried by those thoughts of worry 
harsh memories of the past
You listen to the pain of others though forget about your own
And attempt to fill the negative full of happy thoughts
Clear your mind of all things bad  the sky is the limit
Believing life will change the bad news to good
And laughing although your heart has broke to protect the ones around
Holding your emotions hostage can't be good for you
Taking life as it comes is your way of coping
Their will come a day when numbness starts to fade  
your smile will be true
