Description
Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan warned Trump's most favored nation drug pricing policy will create a "very difficult situation" over the next 18 months, potentially delaying medicine access in Europe and Japan. MFN currently affects 5%–10% of Novartis Medicaid sales. Q1 sales of $13.1B missed the $13.5B estimate, with EPS of $1.65. Sales fell 1% as generic competition reduced revenue from key drugs.
