Mexico: Violence Strikes Nuevo Leon

In the past 72 hours a wave of violence has struck the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. The death count from the recent incidents has reached 22, most of them young men believed to be connected to rival drug cartels. The recent incidents, the Zetas and Gulf Cartel drug gangs had maintained a relative truce over the past year. The recent incidents put a question mark over government claims that violent crimes in the country are diminishing. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
