Description

Hundreds of protesters block an international airport in Mexico, demanding more to be done to find 43 missing students.

They disappeared in late September in Guerrero, after clashing with police.

The government says corrupt officers working with a local drug gang abducted and apparently killed them.

Parents of those missing have been leading protests in recent weeks.

(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) SPOKESPERSON FOR PARENTS OF THE MISSING 43 STUDENTS, FELIPE DE LA CRUZ, SAYING:

"Whist the airport is closed no one will enter for three hours, no more. But we'll be here."

For those three hours, tourists at Acapulco airport had to walk to catch their planes. Some of them weren't happy.

(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) TRAVELLER, PATRICIA, SAYING:

"I think they should protest in a different way. The country is in ruins and people in Acapulco, in tourism are still without work."

The area was once a holiday hotspot, attracting Hollywood movie stars.
