Mexican siblings take over YouTube
Description
They might be the next global sibling singing sensation.
Called Vazquez Sounds, these three children from the Mexican city of Mexicali posted their cover of Adele's "Rolling In the Deep," to YouTube, attracting over five million hits in about ten days.
Ten-year-old Angie is the lead vocalist, 13-year-old Gustavo is on the drums and 15-year old Abelardo plays the guitar, bass and piano.
He explained that with the new fame, came change.
SOUNDBITE: Abelardo Vazquez, saying (Spanish)
"Things at home have changed because the phone doesn't stop ringing and now we're more attached to YouTube and social networks but we've always grown up with music."
That is because of their father, also named Abelardo, is a famous music producer in Mexico.
But the three teens are keeping it cool, not letting the new-found success go to their heads.
SOUNDBITE: Gustavo Vazquez, saying (Spanish)
"We were very surprised and I feel proud of my siblings because we work not only as a group but as a family and we've achieved this."
VazquezSounds are hoping to release a new song online every month.
