Mew - Satellites

"Satellites," the first single off Mews upcoming release '+-', is a textbook definition of the mixture of pop and musical exploration. The exploration theme is in full swing in the new video as it uses a combination of stark black rooms and ambient, cosmic lights to achieve a truly surreal feel. Each member is basked in a variety of lighting with the ground beneath them and the ceilings above them illuminated. As the video comes to a close a sweeping shot of the night sky above comes into frame, illuminating how very vast the universe is and we are all just satellites floating through space.
