The Malaysian Anti-Cheap Liquor Movement is urging the government to put a stop to cheap liquor being sold at sundry shops following the deaths of at least 19 people due to methanol poisoning Methanol, an alcohol compound used in making spurious liquor, is harmless in tiny amounts but lethal in larger concentrations.
