Meta told U.S. employees it will collect mouse activity, keystrokes, and periodic screenshots on work systems to train AI models through a tool called Model Capability Initiative. CTO Andrew Bosworth said the Agent Transformation Accelerator program focuses on AI agents doing more work while employees supervise results. Meta said the data is for model training, not employee evaluation. Shares were up 0.59% at $674.88 in premarket trading.
