"Men" gets record viewership, Weaver ready for next "Avatar"

"Two and A Half Men" reached a record number of viewers for its debut episode - the first one without Charlie Sheen. In total, 27.7 million people watched the show, which now features Ashton Kutcher in replace of Sheen. Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, was killed off the show - the episode was centered around his funeral.
In other Sheen news, the actor and Warner Bros are close to a settlement on the actor's 100 million dollar lawsuit against the studio over his firing from "Two and a Half Men." TMZ is reporting that he will get 25 million dollars immediately, but over time, will get five times that amount.
Sigourney Weaver will be back in the sequel to "Avatar," despite being killed off in the first film. The actress told movie website Coming Soon that despite her character being fatally wounded, she said director James Cameron told her that "no one ever dies in science fiction." Cameron has said the earliest date a sequel could be in theaters would be in 2014.
Finally, Brad Pitt premiered "Moneyball" in Oakland, California. The actor met with fans and signed autographs before heading into the stadium and posing for pictures with Oakland A's player Hideki Matsui.
