Description

If the news that a remake of Christopher Nolan’s Memento is in the works makes you fear for the future of film, we’re right there with you! So we’ve got a movie that will help you Memento fans forget this ridiculous news.

Both films play with time and memory to create uniquely told stories about men trying to solve the mysteries of crimes close to their hearts. While Memento is told backwards The Limey constantly skips through time and locations leaving the audience to draw many of their own conclusions about when things are really taking place.

In Steven Soderbergh’s 1999 film The Limey Terrence Stamp plays Wilson, an ex-con from the UK who comes to Los Angeles to seek out his daughter’s killer. We follow him as he encounters a variety of suspects and tries to figure out exactly what happened.

Have you seen The Limey? How do you feel about the idea of a Memento remake? Who would win in a fight, General Zod (The Limey’s Terrence Stamp) or Aldrich Killian (Memento’s Guy Pierce)?
