Stand by me, when I’m sober and when I’m drunk
Stand by me, when I’m right and when I’m wrong
Stand by me, when I’m well and when I’m sick
Stand by me, when I’m thin and when I’m fat
Stand by me, when I’m good and when I’m bad
Stand by me, when I’m powerful and when I’m powerless
Stand by me, when I’m happy and when I’m sad
No matter what, through thick and thin, let us stand
for each other.
