Melvina Germain - (370) Walking The Dog
3 Views • Nov 07, 2014
Description
His dark green kaleidoscopic eyes.
He soars ore grass
Beneath the pale blue sky
while birds with orange breast sing.
Look at the weather,
white clouds turn shades of gray,
be it beginning of spring?
Heat of the morning sun
trails the afterbirth of rain.
Ahhh the scent of lavender
escapes the blossoms near
I delight in its aromatic tease
for a moment or two, basking
in the luke warm flowing breeze.
He stands beside me
sporting that shiny black coat
tail wagging to and fro, panting, panting
must come back tomorrow,
for now we must go.
