Can I forget about the reasons?
Why or whom we do things?
I am tortured by the inner thoughts,
Of what one must do.
What is expected?
What is it people presume to know?

Can I forget about the treasons?
Why we bound ourselves to our possessions?
As I am overcome by the knowledge,
Of my destiny and if I lose it.
Will I end up along with everyone else?
Who just dreamed, but didn’t go get it?

Can I forget about the guilty feelings?
Why we assume we need to feel?
I know I am guilty in the heart,
But not from being selfish to the bone.
Is it sacrificing more then our future?
Why so just to please you?

I can forget get the weapons?
We attack and we protect ourselves... from ourselves?
I attempt to fit into your plans,
Being told the future of me and you?
Am I denying dreams I have?
Knowing they will kill… you.
